Overview: Established in 2016, the MUD Makeup Scholarship is the first Beauty Changes Lives program focused on makeup artistry. Beauty Changes Lives President Lynelle Lynch said, “Beauty Changes Lives is committed to helping individuals pursue the many diverse career paths available in the professional beauty and wellness industry. The addition of a makeup scholarship complements the established scholarship programs that support cosmetology, nail, esthetics and massage therapy programs and allows the Foundation to offer a comprehensive suite of beauty and wellness scholarships.”

Overview: Each year there are 20 to 50 million tons of e-waste discarded in the world. E-waste contains toxic materials, including heavy metals, that can easily seep into the ground and ultimately get into groundwater supplies. According to the EPA, recycling e-waste allows more than 100 million pounds of materials to be reused annually. The purpose of this scholarship is to help you understand the impact of e-waste and what can be done to reduce e-waste. 


 Niche $2,000 “No Essay” Scholarship

Deadline: The end of every month

Award Amount: $2,000

Overview: The $2,000 “No Essay” Scholarship is an easy scholarship with no essay required! The scholarship can be used to cover tuition, housing, books, or any education-related expenses. The monthly winner will be determined by random drawing and then contacted directly and announced in Niche’s e-newsletter and on the Scholarship Winners page. You can apply once each month, with a new winner selected every month.


Two Ten Higher Education Footwear Design Scholarships

Deadline: April 5, 2020

Award Amount: Up to $3,000

Overview: Two Ten provides scholarship opportunities to any student who is studying design with a focus on footwear. Applicants are evaluated by financial need and design potential. Unlike our traditional college scholarships, the Footwear Design Scholarship is available to any student who is studying design with a focus on footwear.  This program was created in 2003 to assist students with a demonstrated interest and skill in pursuing a career in footwear design. Applicants are evaluated by design potential and financial need. Awards of up to $3,000 annually are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study.

Barbara Lotze Scholarship

Overview: Undergraduate students enrolled, or planning to enroll, in physics teacher preparation curricula and high school seniors entering such programs are eligible. Successful applicants receive a stipend of up to $2,000 and a complimentary AAPT Student Membership for one year. The scholarship may be granted to an individual for each of four years.

Overview: Submit original photo, artwork or computer graphics for the front of a greeting card. Must be 14 years or older at time of entry and be enrolled in High School, College, University or Homeschool. The finalists will again be decided by voting!


Axon Optic’s “Migraine Story” Scholarship

Deadline: November 30, 2019 

Award Amount: $1,000

Overview: Any current, full-time student of an accredited two-year or four-year American university or college is welcome to apply. There is no age or specific major requirement.
