Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship Program

Overview:The Amazon Future Engineer scholarship program assists high school seniors who have completed an advanced placement computer science course, or who have taken an advanced placement computer science test and plan to continue their education at an accredited four-year college or university majoring in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering or other computer related field of study.

Overview:  The McLamore Family Foundation created the James W. McLamore WHOPPER Scholarship awards students who have graduated from high school within the last three years or full-time students who are seniors at a high school or home school. A minimum 3.3 GPA is required, along with a minimum 25 ACT score or 1220 SAT score. Students must have demonstrated an active leadership role in community service, athletics, and/or similar co-curricular activity and substantial work experience. Burger King Scholars Program

Overview:  Created in memory of Burger King Co-founder James “Jim” W. McLamore, the Burger King Scholars program has awarded $25.3 million in scholarships to more than 24,000 high school students, BK employees and their families across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico since 2000. Generation Google Scholarship

Overview:  The Generation Google Scholarship was established to help aspiring computer scientists to excel in technology and become leaders in the field. Selected students will receive 10,000 USD (for those studying in the US) or 5,000 CAD (for those studying in Canada) for the 2020-2021 school year. Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of each candidate’s impact on diversity, demonstrated leadership, and academic background. The program is open to qualified students who meet all the minimum qualifications and we strongly encourage people who identify as part of historically underrepresented groups, including Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, American Indian, or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, to apply. State Farm Companies Foundation Scholarship

Award: $5,000

Overview: The State Farm Companies Foundation Scholarship Program recognizes academically talented legal dependents of eligible State Farm® associates (employee, agent, or retiree*). 100 scholarships are awarded each spring during the senior year of high school. The scholarship award is $5,000 per year up to four years of college (undergraduate study) or until baccalaureate degree requirements are completed, whichever occurs first. Students attending junior colleges are also eligible as long as the student is pursuing a baccalaureate degree and is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate. Google Student Veterans of America Scholarship

Overview:  As part of our commitment to military veterans, Google established the Google SVA Scholarship in partnership with Student Veterans of America. Overview:  All entries will first be screened to ensure they meet the entry criteria outlined on the TeenDrive365 Video Challenge Checklist. A panel of judges will then score your video based on creativity, content and presentation. The top 10 finalists will be added to an online poll for the public to determine the People’s Choice Award. GE-REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Overview:  Honoring the legacy and character of our nation’s 40th President, the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program rewards college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education. Each year, the Program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years – up to $40,000 total per recipient. Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship for Undergraduate Students

Overview:  Shell Oil Company (“Shell”) offers $5,000 annual scholarships through the Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship program to underrepresented students pursuing an undergraduate degree in a specific technical field of study at certain universities. The scholarship can be used to pay for tuition and/or school expenses. If the necessary criteria are met, at Shell’s discretion, a student’s scholarship may be renewed up to four years or until Bachelor degree requirements are complete, whichever occurs first.Scholarship recipients are notified of their status during the summer following their application. Wells Fargo Scholarship Program for People with Disabilities

Overview:  In honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) has committed $1 million to Scholarship America to implement a special scholarship program to help people with disabilities obtain the education or training necessary to succeed in the career path of their choice. This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Big Tex Scholarship Program

Award Amount: $6,000

Overview: The Big Tex Scholarship Program has awarded college scholarships to more than 2,500 students for a total of more than $12.5 million. Eligible recipients include graduating high school seniors around the state of Texas who have participated in competitive youth livestock events held at the State Fair, graduating seniors from six Dallas Independent School District high schools in the Fair Park area, and seasonal employees of the State Fair of Texas or their dependents.

Gucci Changemakers Scholarship Program

Overview:  The mission of the Gucci Changemakers Scholarship Award Program is to create more opportunities for young people from diverse backgrounds to gain access to the fashion industry. Annual open call for applications for diverse graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled undergraduate students attending an accredited four-year college or university in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree within the field of fashion in North America. The scholarships are based on unmet financial need. Special consideration will be given to students who live or study in one of the 12 Gucci Changemakers cities– Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Toronto, and Washington DC and/or plan to attend or currently attending a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). Overview: DECA’s scholarship program provides over $300,000 in scholarships to high school and college DECA members at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) each year. Overview: Raytheon-FIRST Robotics Scholarship program awards 40 individual scholarships of $1,000 each to FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) alumni pursuing undergraduate education as math, science, engineering or technology majors. We have offered the Raytheon-FIRST Robotics Scholarship since 2003 and to date have disbursed $400,000 in scholarship money. UAA Janice K. Barden Aviation Scholarship

Overview: Through the UAA Janice K. Barden Aviation Scholarship, NBAA Charities annually awards a minimum of $1,000 to each of five undergraduates studying aviation-related curricula at NBAA and University Aviation Association (UAA) member institutions. Overview:  Dr. Anita Borg devoted her adult life to revolutionizing the way we think about technology and dismantling barriers that keep women and minorities from entering computing and technology fields. Recipients of The Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship will each receive a $10,000 award for the upcoming academic year. A group of female undergraduate and graduate students will be chosen from the applicant pool, and scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of each candidate’s academic background and demonstrated leadership. All scholarship recipients and finalists will be invited to attend the Annual Google Scholars’ Retreat in Mountain View, California. Overview:  Blacks at Microsoft (BAM) is a company-sponsored employee network dedicated to supporting the continued growth and development of black employees at Microsoft Corporation. Overview:  RMHC/HACER National Scholarships are $100,000 ($25,000 per year paid over four years) for five students who verify enrollment at any accredited institution that provides post-secondary education each year, among other requirements.
