Faculty members lead seminars that guide students to broaden their professional network while training them to ask the right research questions.
  • Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF): This program gives sophomores, juniors, and seniors the opportunity to participate in a full-time, 10-week research experience over the summer. This fellowship is open to students of all disciplines.
  • Provost’s Undergraduate Research Scholarship Program (PURS): The PURS program gives talented UH juniors and seniors the opportunity to conduct a semester-long research project under the direction of a UH faculty mentor. Selected students receive a $1,000 scholarship to fund their research.
