ALUMNI TESTIMONIALS
“The Health Science Center has a lot of great resources for helping students find internships so you’re not doing it alone. They have special advisors that are just there for internships. They have people there to help you with your cover letter and your resume, and I get an email or two per week with internship opportunities that I can apply to. They really help you out.” – Megan Stevens (Health Science) ‘26
“Professors, advisors and other students on campus are great resources. My freshman year, my A&P professor was looking for students to work at his PT office and I applied, and I ended up working with him for 3.5 years, gaining experience as a rehabilitation aide. He went on to write me letters of recommendation for other experiences. I ended up leaving there a couple months ago to switch up my patient care experience and make sure I’m getting a well-rounded realm of hours. Now I’m working as a medical assistant at a clinic in Danvers. I wouldn’t have gotten those opportunities without those really good job resources from my professors and the letters of recommendation. They do a good job at helping you navigate getting to where you want to be.” – Elisha Care, (Health Science) ‘26
“My internship with Merrimack’s Strength and Conditioning and Sports Performance Department has been one of the most rewarding parts of my Merrimack experience. It has allowed me to put my classroom learning into practice, build new professional skills, and gain confidence through hands-on, real-world projects. Every opportunity has helped shape my career goals and prepared me for success after graduation” – Paige Noyes (Com & Media) ‘25
