Geneva College is a Christ-centered academic community that provides a comprehensive education to equip students for faithful and fruitful service to God and neighbor. Geneva offers over 80 traditional undergraduate majors and programs, including nursing, management, marketing, and cybersecurity, an array of fully online bachelor’s programs designed to be attainable for busy adults, and five high-demand graduate degrees in both classroom and online formats. The ABET-accredited engineering program is a Top 100 Best Undergraduate Engineering Program in the nation.
Adhering to the truth of scripture, a Geneva education is grounded in God’s word as well as in a core curriculum designed to prepare students vocationally to think, write, and communicate well in today’s world. A full 96% of students are working or in graduate school a year after graduation.
Geneva’s faculty of 100% committed Christians challenge students with a curriculum emphasizing the liberal arts and certain professional fields within the context of a Biblical view of life and the world. Faith is integrated into all academics, activities, and athletics, which includes 18 NCAA Division III varsity sports.

Whether they are spending a semester abroad, volunteering at a local ministry, or taking part in a corporate internship, the students of Geneva College challenge themselves daily by getting out of the classroom and into the broader world.
CROSSROADS
Geneva’s Center for Off-Campus Study features over 100 study-abroad choices to help students stretch their horizons. From Geneva’s own Semester in Scotland and Rome Experience programs to integrated courses in China and Israel, students have numerous opportunities to discover their unique place in the world.
THE CENTER FOR STUDENT ENGAGEMENT
The Center for Student Engagement helps students grow deeper in their relationship with Christ through a variety of ministries. During Spring Break each year, interested students participate in Quest Trips to serve others both domestically and internationally. Locally, Geneva students work with such community service organizations as Habitat for Humanity, Tiger Pause Youth Ministries, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and others. Campus ministries include Bible studies, discipleship, and a number of student-led groups.
PROFESSIONAL CLUBS
Professional development clubs, like the Geneva College Business Club and Geneva’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), are very active. These clubs bring speakers to campus, take participants on educational trips, and provide valuable networking opportunities.
PINKERTON CENTER FOR TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT
The Pinkerton Center for Technology Development (PCTD) offers Geneva’s engineering and technical resources to local companies through a project-based learning environment. Engineering students also obtain hands-on experience by participating in national contests such as the SAE Baja, Steel Bridge Building, and Solar Splash Boating Competitions.

At Geneva College, learning takes place in an intellectually challenging, Christ-centered environment. And all courses are taught by accomplished and experienced professors who truly care about the academic, social, and spiritual advancement of their students.
FIRST-YEAR PROGRAM
All incoming first-year students participate in a one-credit Learning and Transitions (L&T) program to help them acclimate to college life and the Geneva core values.
AFFILIATED PROGRAMS
Geneva offers a number of affiliated programs, providing the advantages of an accredited education at Geneva in combination with specialized instruction at another institution. These include:
- Visual communication programs in partnership with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh
- Environmental science courses at Au Sable Institute (various locations around the globe)
- Music Business partnership with the Contemporary Music Center in Nashville, TN
- 3&3 Program through the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary (RPTS), which enables students to earn a bachelor’s from Geneva and a Master of Divinity from RPTS in only six years.
HONORS PROGRAMS
The Geneva College Honors Programs—First-Year, Young Scholars and Academic Partners—provide opportunities for students to challenge themselves by digging deeper into the college experience. Students explore what it means to be a Christian scholar, all while discovering the lordship of Christ in every aspect of academic life. First-Year Honors students receive a $2,000 Travel & Research Honorarium that may be used for such specific purposes as off-campus study, academic research, and conference attendance.

- Geneva offers over 80 distinct and innovative undergraduate majors and programs, with the most popular including business, engineering, education, biology, communication, and computer science.
- The school’s low 12-to-one student-to-faculty ratio and average class size of 18 creates a welcoming learning atmosphere that encourages personal interaction between professors and students.
- About 80% of Geneva’s professors hold doctoral degrees. Geneva has a larger percentage of senior faculty members than most U.S. colleges.

The integration of faith and learning at Geneva College isn’t simply an academic exercise. Students spend their college years within a community of believers that reinforces their Christian values while challenging them to consider how their beliefs inform their studies, their communities, their cultures, and their lives. And learning doesn’t stop at the classroom doors; all campus programs and activities are designed to encourage students to expand their thinking while forming faithful Christian responses.
GUESTS@GENEVA
Distinguished lecturers, well-known musicians and performers, best-selling authors, accomplished scholars, and leading religious figures are invited to campus each semester to enrich the educational experience. Past guests have included American political commentator Fred Barnes, Academy Award-winning filmmaker Gregg Helvey, philosopher Dr. Alvin Plantinga, author Mosab Yousef, Civil Rights activist Rutha Harris, and Nobel Prize-winning chemist Dr. Roald Hoffmann.
FILM FEST
The annual Film Fest event showcases student-produced movies that feature the writing, directing, and acting talents of Geneva students.
CONCERTS
Geneva College has sponsored a number of concerts at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, including TobyMac, Casting Crowns, for King and Country, and Chris Tomlin. It has also brought artists like Crowder, Third Day, and Tenth Avenue North to campus.
CHAPEL
Weekly chapel is a time for the campus to gather together to praise God, hear His word, and seek His favor and direction. Attendance is mandatory for students, and the entire campus community is encouraged to participate.
ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT
Geneva offers a group for every interest, including student publications like The Geneva Cabinet student newspaper; such music ensembles as the Genevans choir, touring choir New Song, and marching and symphonic bands; and the theater program, which produces a show every semester.
CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS
Student groups include academic clubs, intramural sports teams, special interest groups, and faith-based service organizations.
Student Leadership—Students have a voice at Geneva. Members of the Geneva College Student Union (GCSU) develop leadership skills and help make Geneva a better place for the entire community.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT CENTER
Geneva’s Career Development Center helps students find and prepare for internships by providing many great resources, such as the online Geneva Job Link. Hands-on experience is extremely valuable in obtaining employment, and a great majority of Geneva students—over 75%—complete internships or experiential learning during the course of their study.

- Engineering students should have one unit each of chemistry and physics and four units of college preparatory math, including trigonometry or pre-calculus.
- Music students must arrange an audition with the Department of Music.
