Engaged Students

At Regis College, students are empowered to take an active role in their learning through meaningful, real-world experiences that extend far beyond the classroom. From day one, undergraduates are encouraged to connect their academic work with the wider world through internships, service-learning, research, and leadership development.

Students in healthcare programs participate in clinical placements at leading hospitals and care facilities throughout the Boston area, gaining firsthand experience in patient care, diagnostics, and team-based collaboration. Education majors spend time in local schools, developing lesson plans and working directly with students and teachers. Business, public health, and liberal arts majors pursue internships and community-based projects that align with their goals while making a tangible difference in the lives of others.

The college’s commitment to social justice is reflected in its robust service-learning initiatives, many of which are built into coursework. Whether organizing local food drives, mentoring youth, supporting immigrant communities, or participating in global outreach trips, Regis students learn to lead with empathy and purpose.

Great Teaching

Regis faculty are experts in their fields and act as passionate mentors who prioritize student success. With small class sizes and a low student-to-faculty ratio, undergraduates receive personalized attention that supports both academic achievement and professional development.

The college’s academic programs are designed to meet the needs of today’s workforce, especially in high-demand areas such as health sciences, education, and social services. Courses emphasize critical thinking, communication, and ethical leadership, preparing students to solve problems and serve others with integrity.

Vibrant Communities

Regis offers a warm, tight-knit campus where everyone is known, supported, and included. The student body is diverse, with strong representation from first-generation college students, underrepresented groups, and international learners. Through student organizations, leadership programs, athletics, and campus ministry, students find meaningful ways to connect and grow.

SCHOOL LOCATION
Located on a beautiful, 132-acre suburban campus in Weston, Regis thrives with a close-knit campus community. Students have an excellent opportunity to pursue internships or explore a dynamic cultural center, as Boston is only 12 miles away. Regis operates a regular shuttle to the area’s MBTA rapid-transit system and provides car-sharing programs so students can explore the many social and cultural activities in the area, including museums, historic landmarks, and sporting events.

Successful Outcomes

Career preparation at Regis is intentional, individualized, and deeply integrated into the student experience. From their very first semester, students work with academic advisors and career counselors to explore interests, set goals, and build the skills needed to thrive after graduation. The university’s Center for Internships and Career Development provides hands-on support for résumé writing, job searches, interview preparation, and graduate school applications.

Employers consistently value Regis graduates for their combination of technical expertise, ethical grounding, and commitment to service. Whether launching a career in a high-demand industry or answering a call to community leadership, Regis alumni carry forward the university’s mission: to lead with compassion, serve with purpose, and effect meaningful change in their professions and communities.
