Since its founding by the Sisters of Charity in 1918, Seton Hill University has been a pioneering force of innovative higher education. It has flourished from its beginnings as an institution for young women and now brings unique opportunities for both male and female students of all ages. Seton Hill’s community is composed of students from across the U.S. and all around the world. They enjoy over 80 undergraduate and 18 graduate degree programs as well as an online degree program and advanced certifications in a variety of disciplines. Every student is given the tools to succeed—literally—at Seton Hill all traditional full-time bachelor’s degree students get a MacBook Air laptop. Seton Hill has been an Apple Distinguished School since 2010. 

Along with new technologies, the University is also a spearheading force in academic development; new majors are introduced every year! Recent additions to Seton Hill’s repertoire include nursing, data analytics, cybersecurity, global studies, applied mathematics, educational studies, healthcare administration, and innovative instruction.. Classes are taught in classrooms, labs, studios, in the field, and even online, extending Seton Hill’s impact both on campus and around the world.

Seton Hill University is accredited nationally by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
